Telegram bot workflows with a pause before send

Connect the bot token for the bot you control. The crew can read what people sent that bot and send a text message back after a person approves it.

Actions in the product

A new-message trigger can start the crew when someone writes to the bot.

  • Read messages: the latest updates, 1 to 100. Telegram keeps getUpdates results for about 24 hours.
  • Send message: a text of up to 4,096 characters to a chat id or @channelusername, optionally as a reply. Sending is external, so it waits for approval.

Example

Someone messages the bot “What is my order status?”. The crew reads that update, drafts a short reply from instructions you wrote, and pauses on send. A person approves the text. The bot then posts it.

Limits

These actions run with the account your workspace connects. Automated tests for this connector used mocked responses. CrewX24 has not published a separate certification that a production tenant was called.

This connector sends text. It does not upload files, take payments, or host a live voice chat. Messages older than Telegram’s update window are not returned by a later read.

Questions

Whose bot is this?

Yours. The workspace stores the bot token. CrewX24’s marketing site does not ask for that token.

Can the bot reply without approval?

No. Send is an external action, so the run waits even when the crew is autonomous.
