Google Calendar
Google Calendar automation with an approval on changes
Read the calendar freely. Creating an event, including one with a Meet link, and deleting an event both leave the workspace, so those steps wait.
Actions in the product
The connector works with the Google account the workspace connects.
- List events on a calendar, optionally in a time window or matching words.
- Check availability: busy times on one or more calendars.
- Find free slots of a given length inside working hours.
- Create an event, with optional attendees and a Google Meet link. This waits for approval.
- Delete an event, and optionally email attendees. This waits for approval.
Example
A crew reads the next five weekdays, finds a 30-minute open slot, and proposes an event titled “Intro call”. The create step pauses. After approval, Calendar holds the event. Deleting it later pauses again.
Limits
These actions run with the account your workspace connects. Automated tests for this connector used mocked responses. CrewX24 has not published a separate certification that a production tenant was called.
Finding a slot does not invite anyone. Only the create action does, and only after approval. The product does not negotiate across people who have not shared a calendar with the connected account.
Questions
Can it book over a busy time?
Check availability and find free slots read busy times. They do not themselves create the event. A person still approves the create step.
Does delete notify attendees?
The delete action can email attendees that the event was cancelled. That step waits for approval.
